The Canadian Music Competition held its 66th National Final at the Montreal Music Conservatory from July 2 to 10, 2026. Among the 150 finalists \u2014 all winners from their respective Chapters’ National Auditions in the provinces of Quebec, Manitoba, Ontario, British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Nova Scotia \u2014 four Grand Prizes were awarded.<\/p>\n

19\u201325 Age Category:<\/strong> From Toronto, Ontario, flutist Josh Chong (21 years old) is a recent graduate of the University of Toronto, where he studied with Susan Hoeppner. Josh is currently pursuing his Master’s degree at the Royal College of Music in the United Kingdom, where he will study with Gitte Marcusson.<\/p>\n

15\u201318 Age Category:<\/strong> From Montreal, violinist Juliette Xiang (16 years old) studies at the Conservatoire de musique de Montr\u00e9al with Andr\u00e9e Azar.<\/p>\n

11\u201314 Age Category:<\/strong> From Montreal, violinist Aiden Liu (13 years old) trains under Ana Drobac at the Conservatoire de musique de Montr\u00e9al.<\/p>\n
