Thanks to a special project between the CMC and the Canadian Federation of Violin and Bow Makers (the ALAC), a young Canadian string musician is given the opportunity each year to grow as a performer and to play in concert using a top-tier instrument.<\/p>\n

This year, that honor goes to young violinist Sofija Radovanovic \u2014 a national finalist at the 66th edition of the CMC 2026 (Ontario section), age 10 years old \u2014 who has been awarded this loan from the ALAC. She is the recipient of a magnificent 3\/4-size violin made by Isabelle Wilbaux and a 3\/4-size bow made by Zacharie Rodrigue.<\/p>\n
