The 1st Prize of the 2017 Stepping Stone on tour for Jeunesses Musicales

The Quebec pianist and 1st Prize at the 2017 Stepping Stone, Jean-Michel Dubé, is currently giving several concerts under the auspices of Jeunesses Musicales of Canada, in a tribute to Quebec composers Rodolphe and André Mathieu. He shares the stage with pianist Rosemarie Duval-Laplante, also a regular at the competition. Together, they will give by the beginning of November 13 concerts in as many cities in Quebec and Ontario.

The CMC recently received news from them:

"After so much work, what a pleasure for both of us to go on tour throughout the month of October! What a beautiful country through which we have the chance to travel! How many delighted audiences and welcoming organizers we have the chance to meet! After more than 6,000 km, the visit of the metallurgy of Rouyn-Noranda, the texts that we must also say in English … without laughter, the snow in Port-Cartier, the beautiful colors of autumn and the wonderful river St-Laurent, we are more than convinced that music is the best job in the world! In addition, we are only half of this adventure…. Next steps: Baie-Comeau, Val-d’Or, Amos, LaSarre, Ville-Marie and Jonquière! Thank you to the Jeunesses Musicales for allowing us to live these unforgettable moments! "
