GENERAL DIRECTIVES

It is permitted for one of the members to be one year older than the category in which the ensemble registers.

For the National Audition, every piece must be written for one piano. At the National Final, the pieces can be for either one or two pianos.

Candidates must include in their entire musical program works from two out of five of the following periods: baroque, classical, romantic, modern and contemporary.

Notice: Your repertoire list must comply with the “Repertoire Guidelines“, as specified in the rules.

NATIONAL AUDITION

  1. Two contrasting works of your choice (at least one movement each) or one complete work.
  2. One work or a group of movements or one movement from the classical period.

Maximum time: 23 minutes

NATIONAL FINAL

  1. Two contrasting works or one group of movements for each work (for 1 or 2 pianos).

Maximum time: 15 minutes
