Historical Information

General directives

Candidates registered for any Piano category between 7 and 15 years old may choose repertoire from an older age category up to a maximum of 2 years. For example, a candidate registered in Piano 12 years old can select repertoire from Piano 13 years old and 14 years old. However, the candidate must respect the time limit of the category in which he is registered.

The musical program of the first round must include contrasting works and movements so that the candidate’s musicality can be heard in various tempi (slow and fast).

Notice: Your repertoire list must comply with the “Repertoire Guidelines”, as specified in the rules.
