General directives

It is permitted for one of the members to be one year older than the category in which the ensemble registers.

In the First Round and the Provincial Final, every piece must be written for one piano. At the National Final, the pieces can be for either one or two pianos.

Notice: Your repertoire list must comply with the “Repertoire Guidelines”, as specified in the rules.

First Elimination

  1. Two contrasting works of your choice or one group of movements for each work.

Maximum time: 25 minutes

Provincial Final

  1. One work from the classical period.
  2. One work or a group of movements of your choice.

Maximum time: 28 minutes

National Final

  1. Two contrasting works or one group of movements for each work (for 1 or 2 pianos).

Maximum time: 25 minutes
