CMC’s Health and Safety Protocol

As announced at the launch of the 2021 edition of the Canimex CMC, ensuring the safety of all participants is a priority for our team all across Canada.

To be ready for any eventuality, a health and safety protocol has been developed, giving all candidates the opportunity to take advantage of a platform that will allow them to safely express themselves and get a clear understanding of the mechanisms that could lead to a switch to a non-competitive edition for a particular instrument category, region, or at the national level.

The CMC’s health and safety protocol reflects Canada’s highest public health standards. It includes regulations regarding the wearing of masks, distancing, and the use of Plexiglas-type protective shields, as well as common directives that apply to anyone authorized to enter the audition venues. These directives, dated February 9, 2021, may change depending on the evolution of the health situation. Candidates will be informed as needed.

The 2021 edition of the Canimex CMC offers a unique opportunity to share and showcase the work of young Canadian musicians, despite the constraints brought on by the Covid-19 pandemic. We look forward to seeing you soon and having you join us in celebrating the emergence of talent!
