Violinist Isabella D’Éloize Perron and Pianist Ryan Zhu Tie for the 11-14 Years CMC Grand Prize

Bravo to Isabella D’Éloize Perron and Ryan Zhu, who were named the 2015 Grand Prize winners in the 11-14 years age group. The Calgary violinist and the Vancouver pianist both received a mark of 97 percent for their exceptional performances during the National Final round of the 2015 CMC. Isabella competed in the Strings 14 years old category, while Ryan competed in the Piano 11 years old category.

The Grand Prize is given to the participant with the highest mark in his/her overall age category, regardless of instrument.

Congratulations to all the National Finalists in the 11-14 years age group for their tremendous efforts and perseverance! Detailed results for this age group are now available online.

The CMC National Final continues through July 3 in Vancouver at the Vancouver Academy of Music. The results of all the remaining categories will be announced on Friday, July 3. Check the CMC website for details.
