Piano Duo of Vivian Lou and Kyu Young Park wins the 15-18 Years CMC Grand Prize

Congratulations to Vivian Lou (West Vancouver) and Kyu Young Park (Surrey), who were named the 2015 Grand Prize winners in the 15-18 years age group. The piano duo received a mark of 96 percent for their exceptional performance during the National Final round of the 2015 Canadian Music Competition (CMC). The duo competed in the Piano 4 hands / Duo-piano 17 years old category.

The Grand Prize is given to the participant with the highest mark in his/her overall age category, regardless of instrument.

Congratulations to all the National Finalists in the 15-18 years age group for their tremendous efforts and perseverance! Detailed results for this age group are now available online.

The CMC National Final continues through July 3 in Vancouver at the Vancouver Academy of Music. The results of all the remaining categories will be announced during the next week. Check the CMC website for details.
