CMC Winners Perform in Outdoor Event in Pointe-aux-Trembles

The Rivières-des-Prairies — Pointe-aux-Trembles borough and the Marché du Village partner with the Canadian Music Competition in order to promote young talent.

In a fun and festive atmosphere, the «Savoureux dimanches musicaux» will showcase 2014 CMC winners from Montréal and surrounding areas. Everything is in place to make these events unforgettable: visitors can buy fresh produce from local artisans and prepare their picnic while listening to delightful music played by our young artists. Rental of blankets and picnic baskets for only $3.

The Soloists:

  • July 20, 2014: Antoine Rivard-Landry, piano; Meng-Tien Huang, piano; Qi Rui (Richard) Zheng, violin
  • August 24, 2014: Duet made up of pianist Philippe Prud’homme and cellist Thomas Chartré
  • September 28, 2014: to be determined

The Marché du Village is located at the new Village-de-la-Pointe-aux-Trembles place, on boulevard Saint-Jean-Baptiste, at the corner of Notre-Dame East.
