Gold Medal for Louisa Lu

Multi-national CMC Finalist Louisa Lu, born and residing in Edmonton, has won at age 15 the 2012 Gold Medal for Grade 9 Violin Examinations for The Royal Conservatory of Music. Louisa has completed all of her theoretical requirements for ARCT in Piano Performance since she was 13 and has received the degree of LRCM in Piano Performance at the age of 14. Louisa remains one of the youngest pianists ever to be awarded both the ARCT and LRCM in the 125th year history of the Royal Conservatory of Music. Louisa currently attends to Old Scona Academic High School and continues her music studies under the direction of James Keene and Wolfram Linnebach. She will be attending The Royal Conservatory Convocation and Gold Medalist Ceremony at the Jack Singer Concert Hall in Calgary on April 14, 2013 at 2:00 pm.
